I'm pretty green when it comes to hunting; no experience beyond the NRA hunters' course. I eventually want to hunt coyote, but I figured starting with squirrel might be a bit wiser since I know they're common in the Western half of the state, where I live.
I'm having a hard time finding information on what parts of the Western half of the state to look in, though. Is anyone familiar with hunting ground squirrel? I know that I'm not going to get any specific spots (and don't expect to), but ideas of general areas to look in would be nice.
Thanks in advance.
