Yeah.... because corporate CEO's have the general populace's best interest at heart..... riiiiiiiiiiight!

I was joking with my wife yesterday. All these calls to "do something". What if the something they did was to penalyze the media for causing panic in the population when statistically it was not justified.

I know first amendment also protects the right to lie and sensationalize. And apparently to make it seem like the world is exploding even if it's really not. Fear mongering and terror are good for business.

I watched the whole conversation between Ted Cruz and Milano. Not once did Ted bring up the point that maybe combined with stronger background checks and instant check system or concealed carry reciprocity or consitutional carry could be part of it.

They kept saying they didn't want to take away our right to protect ourselves so... Would have been a perfect opportunity to advocate for that along with background checks.

I appreciate his defense, but what we need is an advocate.
