$8 a day to disassemble the ammo down to its core components for scrap.

Shows what a good air/water tight ammo can does for ammo though. keeps it clean and corrosion free for years. Looks like some of those cans lost their seal or became deformed at some point causing the seal to break.

Heck you ought to see what some of the Russian diggers are finding along the Eastern front from WW2.

It's amazing how well a lot of the ammo they find has survived, along with a lot of other artifacts as well.

Must be some truth to this considering most of what the Russians are digging up is coming from flooded, partially frozen mud filled trenches.
