That's the scary thing. The bottom got a huge bump, and the rest didn't get sh-t. Setting up a collapse if you ask me.
Anything happening in the news lately seems like it's deliberately intended to damage our economy, sanity, republic, or all three. I don't think it's me. I think a lot of this Iluminatti, Marxism, Soros and Rothschilds crap has been right all along. Everything I laughed at 15 years ago is coming true.

I agree, the super rich want to break our Country.

They are tired of the US being the world police & sticking our noses into everything is what I read

Yeah, it's really none of our business if a regime bent on the destruction of half of the world's nations is refining military grade radioactives and testing ICBMs. I'm totally willing to give up my personal liberties for that. :D

I live in Pullman Washington and have a landscaping business. I was trying to hire people to mow lawns for $16-18 a hour, and found nobody. Just by luck my wife was talking to someone on campus that was looking for work. Or I would still be looking to hire. Mind you $15 a hour ,cost me $20 with all the other bs. Things are going to go up just for inflation

Sounds like ya could look into adoption, making us kids do the grunt work was how my Dad did it

Prevailing wages haven't slowed down any, in fact, construction jobs are paying better then "Brain Work" that required a collage education and the debt to go with it! I know plenty of dudes who dropped the skilled labor for construction, pays better, plenty of O.T. and benefits, no degree required, read a tape, cut strait, don't kill your self or get others killed, your hired!

The term "Living wage" cracks me up.

The job pays what the effort is worth, no more. It's got nothing to do with the value of a person, instead it's the value of the output.

Then factor in supply of the labor. Can anyone do it? Lower value because of supply. Is the job highly specialized and valuable (CEO, NFL quarterback)? Higher value because of supply.

Then factor in demand. You get the point.

The term "living wage" is just one more of the things they have tried to get socialism. That term has been around so long that many are comfortable with "universal income" too. Idea that all just get a check from the magic money machine if they do not make enough. Anything to get people to become dependent on that money machine.

I'm OK with paying useless people to stay out of the way. They won't like the amount, but they wouldn't like it no matter what it was.

This is why the minimum wage will never be enough. No matter what they make it people will just scream for more since its not "fair". Sadly a majority goes along with it so we march to socialism. NetFlix did a great show on Tyrants I watched the other day. It was pretty damn well done. I don't think they realize how damning it was to one party that wants total power. Can't really fault them though as voters willingly give them the power and give up rights. As long as they get a promise to be taken care of :s0054:

The GOAL of the "Living Wage and Universal Income folks". Is to not have to work. Or to work at a job that has very little value to an employer. BUT, still get paid enough for an great lifestyle. Figure.......
Food, clothing and shelter.

BUT, But, but..... only one ration of steak and lobsters (once a week)? And, I lack name-brand clothing. Not to mention, that I don't like where I'm currently living.

Rrrrright......obviously we'll need to give you MORE.

PS...to keep the subject relevant to guns.
Well (as an employee).....you'll have the knowledge of when the new stock of ammo is about to hit the shelves. Buy it yourself or call your family and friends.
Sounds like Home Depot the last couple years I was there. Retail is awful, especially the last 18 months or so.
