The Barska products I own (binoculars) and the products I've looked at (scopes and red dots) were all pretty lousy, appearing to have most of their R&D budget spent on making the product LOOK like a decent product. This combo looks like it has a lot of "bells and whistles" for the price. I'd check one out locally (I think DICK'S has them) before I'd pull the trigger.

You can not expect to get a great scope, much less a great scope and green laser for $219.00. You can expect to get what you paid for. That said, the green lasers really burn through the batteries no matter who makes em.
