August 1 Auction Cancelled

Gary Germer cancelled his 8/1 gun auction abruptly today for unexplained "circumstances beyond our control" just after putting the catalog up online. Strange. Unclear whether the one scheduled for later will take place, but I wouldn't count on it.

This is what I got when I asked when the online catalog would be available:

Dear Mr. [X],

We are disappointed that due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had to cancel this auction at the last minute. As of this time, we are not sure when it will be rescheduled but if you follow our website or look for our emails, we will let you know as soon as we do.
