    Who cares? They were illegal in California when I lived there growing up and I had stacks of them and nunchucks and three-sectional staffs and...funny thing was you could get them all day long in Chinatown.

    I remember numchucks and throwing stars. they got outlawed in the 80's I think.

    A lot of states outlawed them in the early '70's because of Bruce Lee movies.
