Got my ap5 back from warranty. Have to do another background check because of the 30 round mag. They said they adjusted the magwell but its just super crooked now and mags dont feel great locking in. Do I not accept it and send it back? Worst 1200 dollar gun ever

Looks like they're saying all holes are offset like that (normal)

Potential you weren't removing it in the correct way based on them saying it came out without issues?

Can't comment on the mag well, but i would also say you're trying to make a visual line-up happen on what i would consider a non-precision machined firearm.

When the pin was out grabbing it with vise grips didn't get it out. You can see bare metal on the side of the cocking handle were pressing it in took metal off. And I get its stamped but for 1200 bucks this looks worse then psa

I'd take it to the range and shoot it. If it works, learn to live with the minor defects.

Interesting to see how they adjusted the mag well.

Most of my H&Ks have holes that don't line up with the charging handle pin on both sides. I use an undersized punch and drive the pin out towards the side that does line up.

That's interesting the H&K's have this too - i understand these are made on H&K tooling. Guess it's just the nature of what they intended this to be?
