I have this old gun....
I know these tend to have some collector value but am not familiar with the specifics of what different models are worth. This is a Remington Rand 1911 A1 U.S. ARMY. PROPERTY UNITED STATES. I think the manufacture date is 1943. There is finish wear as pictured but no rust. It functions flawlessly. I'm not interested in selling at the moment, just looking for an approximate value.
 
Your .45 was made in 1944 and is indeed a Remington Rand Lower. I cannot make out the wording on the upper (slide) but it should read Remington Rand also. Given the condition, which I would rate at 50-60%, I would expect the right collector may give you as much as $700 for it. That would also depend on the condition of the bore. JMO (Randy, who has been dealing with 1911's for roughly 35 years).

BTW, Remington Rand Production for 1944 was S/N 1890504 to 2075103.
