That's right. The ACLU doesn't care about the Second Amendment per se. They support magazine bans, red flag laws, etc. and have publicly said so. The only time the ACLU interferes with gun control is when said gun control discriminates on the basis of race, gender, mental health, etc.. i.e., the enumerated civil liberties the ACLU's donor base cares about.

My neighbor works for the ACLU and he is a self-righteous commie prick. He has a hammer and sickle work of "art" framed on his living room wall (not joking). That guy doesn't give a sh about the right to bear arms. If all firearms were outlawed tomorrow he would host a barbecue for the entire neighborhood.
