The ACLU's pretty naive to say that they love and wish to protect the 1st Amendment and to deny the People the means to protect the 1st and all other Amendments

What's going to stop say, police or FBI, ATF, DHS from showing up to rallies and the like, crack skulls, arrest, shoot, tear gas people simply for daring to speak out against whoever is in power?

I mean... Tianamen Square... Hong Kong... Kent State... all those riots and protests in 1930s Germany... the Pogroms in Soviet Russia... the genocides in Africa, Cambodia, Armenia, many places in history...

Even Chairman Mao (ugh...) has been quoted as saying "political power grows from the barrel of the gun".

If we give up the 2nd, we'll just be the "terrorists" that the FBI hunts down with guns.

I would say they are living up to the goals of the organization as stated by their founding members . They are more relevant than ever given the crap they helped create and support . Just look at our society and government right now . Looks to me like they've done a bang up job

Then, think about the numerous American Businesses and CEOs that say that they support/stand with/donate to BLM.
