7.62x39 Windham or IWI Galil?

I am looking to get one of these rifles. Input from owners of either the two is most welcome. First and foremost is reliability, and wouldn't rule out a quality AK47. This would be a new caliber for me. I would definitely appreciate some thoughtful suggestions.

Get yourself a good arsenal SGL or SLR and don't look back and some golden tiger ammo to feed it.

Don't rule out the 5.45 guns either, they are a lot of fun to run as well, with very little recoil impulse.

Arsenal SLR107R / SLR107-11 sounds like your jam. A $850 rifle that will run like a champ!

Just get an AK. IMHO the only reason to get the Galil Ace is if you like the Galil, since its the closest you can get without building your own or paying a lot.
