Yeah, let's total up the personal injury and property damage losses accrued nation-wide during 1st Amendment-protected "mostly peaceful" riots from 2016-2021. Each one of those thousands of incidents were deliberately incited by the spoken and written words of agitators. See how that painful & costly freedom squares with the minority opinion's claim that the 2nd Amendment is "singularly capable of causing harm" (emphasis added). To leftists, "The pen is mightier than the sword" only holds true when it suits their agenda.Funny to read the minority opinion. I would disagree that guns (2nd Amendment) does more harm to Americans than voting and free speech (1st Amendment). I'd argue that the ideas actions by people put into power ultimately harm far more Americans than the conduit through which sometimes violence is perpetrated (firearms).
Ambulance Chasers have cost America more in blood and treasure than firearms, can we ban lawyers?Funny to read the minority opinion. The movie "Hook" told us what to do with lawyers.Ambulance Chasers have cost America more in blood and treasure than firearms, can we ban lawyers?
So did William Shakespeare, way before "Hook".The movie "Hook" told us what to do with lawyers.
True!So did William Shakespeare, way before "Hook".
Yeabutt…. Too many syllables, as is all too common in Queen's English speaking commonwealth countries. So did William Shakespeare, way before "Hook".
I believe that, statistically, the effort can be proven to be ineffective.Today, my good colleagues in the majority break new ground by invalidating a modest and long-established effort to control gun violence.
That quote is a perverse distortion of the clause of the 2nd Amendment. Not only does the dissenting judge see the glass from the half full perspective, they see it contains toxic material.... the Second Amendment alone protects a direct and lethal right to endanger oneself and others….
