Government contracts far outweigh civilian sales. Look at the crazy ammo purchases by the IRS and other government agencies that you would never have thought would have their own private armies. Not to mention military contracts. Bottom lines mean more to them than your constitutional rights.

The way I see it its the other way around. They know they can beat Trump if they woo over enough independents and Never Trump Republicans . They aren't going to be upsetting any apple carts before the election. The Republican base is driving the train off the cliff and all the Democrats have to do is keep their mouths shut for the next 10 months. Pissing off Republicans isn't going to benefit them. Theyre going to be the free sh1t party for the rest of the year. descheduling marijuana stuff like that.

This is something I have posted on previously and unfortunately (historically) there is NOTHING conservatives, repubs etc have ever had 'over' on the dems/libs to the degree of what THEY have as far as gun control is concerned.

As I have said MANY times gun control is purely 'conceptual' with dems/libs. It's not something they approach realistically.

They are essentially 'following' the concepts and ideas of a few who are the 'big talkers' - and like most libs/dems are nothing more than 'camp followers' , and suck the azz of those who they follow.
