The great thing about the '06 is that there are literally reams of reloading data. I like the 180 Accubonds. I shoot 165s out of my 300 WM and Ultra, since the recoil is brutal when you step up to 180 grains in those particular rifles and when you can push them to 3300 to 3600 fps there is an advantage over heavier bullets. But out of the 30-06 the 180 makes sense.
