While some prove definitely more or less reliable than others... I find that pretty much EVERY media outlet has dissenters claiming "they lie'in!". Some are of the mind that the more truth there is, the more opposition there will be.

I think it's well known that it's the standard MO of the leftists is to "shout louder" and drown out any truth that would detract from their agenda. Not that they might not be right sometimes, but it's always something to keep in the back of your mind when you encounter chatter that may be heavily bias.

I also know too that some people will never be dissuaded from what they believe to be true and can loose all objectivity to the point of, "it doesn't matter what they say. If they said it, it's be default a lie."

Clearly.... you have a massive bug up the nethers when it comes to the GP. That's perfectly fine, but is it really necessary to keep harping on it post after post from every which angle trying to push that bug up everyone elses nethers, too? ;)
all I did was point out fact, fact that there is a lot of info out there against The Gateway Pundit. I have not harped on anyone's choice to read or believe in the Pundit, and I'm not the only one in here questioning the Pundits accuracy so why single me out? If someone wants to learn of a fact and choose to ignore it thats fine with me, move along. The Pundit article -is- the main subject of this discussion, anyone here has every right to ask questions on its reliability. I find that while the leftists "shout louder" many people from any other persuasion also try to silence anyone's questions by falsely attacking their methodology or questions.... is equally deceptive.

if you mean liberal vs conservative yes.
I don't believe that there are two sides, we have the uniparty in politics and their propaganda arm in the media. If there is two sides it's those who believe the manipulation and those who think for themselves. Yep, I am cynical and for good reasons. At 71 I have watched the lies and lived through them.

there is two sides to every story.
unarmed society vs and armed citizenry.
Individual liberties vs collective liberties.
socialism vs capitalism

Im guessing the idea against opposing sides is the idea that there one position is true and correct and everything else is varying degrees of corruption?

Until a few moments ago, I have never read the Gateway Pundit. I knew about this story from other sources before this thread was started. I just now read the article linked in the OP. You, and others, blatantly drifted this thread into attacking the source, instead of addressing what was actually in the article. Please share with us any factual errors that are in the linked article. That sounds like a fairly reasonable credibility test all around.

Weve got 9 pages of discussion here where we already discussed this and we did address what was actually in the article.

I guess just because you are the one that has brought up that exact same point multiple times, repeatedly stated "the GP lies" as a rebuttal(?) to discussions on other aspects of the case, and keep posing various questions to bring the focus back on GP as liars and unreliable(?) Questioning and challenging others on their personal news verification practices... insinuating that if we were doing it right we too would know GP's article is a pure fabrication(?)

As I see it, the main subject of the discussions is the raid that occurred. Not GP's reporting reliability record... and several other media sources have also been shared in the thread that includes information not provided in the original GP article. Which... you seem to keep dragging it back to, "but GP lies".

Just sayin... your opinion about GP has been made more than clear so can't we move on and focus on the events and developments of the case instead?

Going to boar you a bit with some gun history in my lifetime.

Recently there has been a lot of talk about the CIA murdering JFK. RFK Jr has said repeatedly that JFK was killed by the CIA and his words followed up by Tucker and others. Which side is the CIA on if they murdered JFK?

1968 Siran Siran shot RFK with a 22 revolver and murdered him. He was from Jordan and immigrated here with his parents at 16. By 20 years old he learned to hate so much he murdered a popular politician, who got the gun for him and who filled him with hate.

Never letting a crisis go to waste the uniparty gave us the 68 gun control act that shut down important of cheap guns and requires registration of any ammo bought that fit a handgun. 10 years later they dropped ammo registration as not a single crime had been solved due to ammo registration. Today kali requires a bc to buy ammo.

School shootings didn't just start today, yet the school shooters of the past were full of Ritalin or other psychological drugs. After the shootings comes the drive for more gun controls yet the kids who killed were driven crazy by psychological drugs. Does the uniparty stop the drugs? No they come up with drugging more kids as they destroy their gender. How did that work out for the kids killed at the Christian school?

Point being is nothing just happened today, there is a long history leading up to today's stories. A history full of lies and corruption.

Actually, I'm old.
And this seems like a typical tactic.
Over respond to and issue, like a certain party does.
Show the Chaos and horror, in this mass insurgence needed to subdue the store owner.
Almost always results in compliance increasing of a lessor offense they really want to address.

Oregon is famous for doing this tactic. Why?
Well my dear friends, so they can show they are compromising.
And if you do not as well? You are the problem.

I actually admire the governments ability to so easily control the masses, with such simple tactics
as redirection, and misdirection. Some times old school manipulation works best.
And citizens just march lock step.

This could be a must larger post. But do we really not know?
