Just an update- I finally got my AK back from PSA last Saturday. After 12 emails and over 12 phone calls where I had to wait an hour each time, oh and NO responses to my emails, I finally got it. What did the trick was I commented on their Facebook post advertising their new aKs and then also Facebook messaged them.
Someone surprisingly got back to me that same day and asked I delete my Facebook comment so I did. This guy was awesome and checked on me every day from his personal cell phone until I got it. They even upgraded my furniture from magpul moe to zhukov as well as give me a extra mag. The finish looks much much better.
Now it is absolutely what I was expecting when I ordered an American made AK. I took it apart and was very happy. I'm still disappointed with their overall customer service but am glad this nightmare is over.
