I have two Savage Fox doubles, model B, purchased in 1959/60 and one Winchester model 37, purchased in about the mid to late 1930's. I hunted with all as a kid, and would keep them if 16 gage ammo was as cheap as 12, and as readily available. I want to sell them but can't find a market, short of giving them away. Any ideas would be appreciated.

there is a market for 16's you just gotta get out there and into "it". it's a small but dedicated group.

put a call into your local shotgun clubs. here in salem, at mitchels, there are a small hand full of old timers that shoot 16 bore. call and ask if they have a bulletin board, or if there is a way of listing a couple guns for sale.

take them to a gun show with a for sale sign on them.

list them here, or another website.

there are methods. just take your time and find the right market.

I picked up some #4s for my 16 over at Wholesale Sports a while back. They had a bunch of boxes. I've bought 16 shells at Cabella's up in Lacey. Bi-Mart used to have 16's once in a while. I even bout some #1s and slugs at GI Joes.

Don't give up on the ammo.
