The kids of today become the voters and adults of tomorrow, best to encourage youth to educate themselves/ be educated and take evidenced based stances on things than to allow them to go through life knowing nothing and being fed slanted information by those with agendas.

Nothing of what this girl said was incorrect, it was actually refreshing to hear a youth present information without it being innacurate or regurgitated rhetoric.

Again, I have no problem with the main point of the video.

In advertising, there's a cliche that periodically runs amok in commercials. I call it the "Wise Child" cliche. It's most commonly employed when a company seeks to position themselves as environmentally sensitive, but it gets used in other ways, including political ads on occasion. You'll recognize it because the adults (primarily men) are always idiots and the kids are always wise.

This video is a form of the Wise Child cliche.

There's nothing wrong with the Wise Child cliche, as far as it goes. And there's nothing wrong with this girl taking a run at promoting her worldview. More power to her. I hope she makes a ton of videos and becomes an internet sensation.

But personally, I simply object on principle to promoting kids as spokespersons for any product, cause or political position.

In truth, the video would have been fine, and I wouldn't have had any objection or reason to post if she had ended it without the "Vote Trump" comment.

Am I being too sensitive? Probably definitely.

But there are enough sources of Trump support by people with the life-experience, maturity, and the legal right to vote without also getting it from someone who has just recently learned to read and write.

Definitely being too sensitive, also it seems that it stems from her endorsement of a political candidate.

When I was in high school high school kids who couldn't vote yet were either very in support of or very critical of Obama becoming president. Kids are affected by the 'adult' world they live in and it would be ignorant to believe they don't have vested insterest in having this country be run the best it can regardless of their own ability to vote in an election or not. Since kids are 100% captive to the decisions of adults it would be only logical for them to support adults who they perceive to be the best candidate until the time they are themselves able to vote and support a candidate themselves personally.

Seeing as how 0 people were in this video except for her, and the two others referenced whatsoever were a pantywaist lib reporter and
Trump, there wasn't much comparison to be made here apart from her own opinions.

It's not like Obama who in an effort to push gun control surrounded his podium with kids and fake cried on national television while trying to strip the rights of Americans to further along his weakening of America agenda.

I love that young people, especially 14 year old girls think this way. It's what it's going to take to defeat the socialist Marxists called the Democratic Party. She is accurate and honest.

That said...she should really be wearing eyes and ears!

Your Trump hate was transferred to this little girl's video, and you even admit it. Wow!

I don't take advice from kids. I don't care for videos centered around kids.

Enough said.

I suppose she shouldn't be shooting if she can't follow basic safety. I'd take my kids guns away for that

As far as I'm concerned anyone under 60 is a kid and should be seen and not heard!!!

Now to the video. The young lady sure wasn't very proficient in the handling of the Shotgun but she did manage to get the point across. Too many supposed adults need to be listening to the kids.

Its the reporter in the original "news" article that gets me....
Claiming that shooting a AR15 "gave him a temporary form of PTSD..."

I find this claim insulting and belittling.
Having come to terms to what I have done in , and experienced in combat...
I find it difficult to believe that the reporter suffered anything as traumatic as what can go on in combat.

Granted...
I know nothing of this reporter's background and I could be way off base here....
But I kinda doubt it.

Kids are a direct reflection of there parents most of the time. There are good kids and bad ones just like adults. She might not have done everything perfect but she is an american that will probably grow up supporting our 2A rights.

I have had some really intelligent conversations with kids. Now with that said if they are like most and talk out the wrong end I just walk away and blame the parents.

For those who don't remember the PTSD reporter was the aptly named Gersh Kuntzman. Here is his shoulder bruising terrifying experience in his own words: What is it like to fire an AR-15? It's horrifying, menacing and very very loud - NY Daily News After being horribly teased and mocked he wrote this follow up: To gun lovers, you can't even have an opinion on assault rifles — unless it's theirs. Here's the proof - NY Daily News

In case you are curious, here is what a Kuntzman looks like:

A fella with a name like that should be selling feminine hygiene products or maybe a OB/GYN and not writing about anything re firearms, sports, shaving, etc.

He even looks like a Kuntzman

I'm sure she does. All kids have their own views.

I just don't care to hear them.

I love kids… from a distance (and that's not just due to a court order).
Interesting.

My son at the ripe age of 10 had more common sense through logic and reason than many adults I know. Now he is 12, almost 13 and when he sees something not right you can see him processing.

He has a dad who tells him both sides of a story so he can make up his own mind.
