Oregon's Only No Compromise Gun Rights

GUN REGISTRATION BILL SCHEDULED?

The anti-rights group "Ceasefire Oregon" sent an email today saying that Prozanzki's gun registration bill SB 1551 is scheduled for a hearing Thursday Feb. 6 at8am.

As of now, thereis no official confirmation and the bill isnot scheduled on the committee calendar, so we cannotconfirm this date. However, Senator Michael Dembrow, an anti-gunner who ison the committee, recentlystated that heexpected a hearing early in the session so thismaybetrue.

If Ceasefire iscorrectthen clearly Prozanski is providing them with inside information that he hasnotprovided to the public. Ethically questionable but not a surprise.

Oddly, Senator Alan Bates (DemocratDistrict 3) said in a radio interview today(KMED, TheBill Meyer Show) thehe did not think the bill would getoutof committee. Healso said he didn't read the bill or know whatwasin it, so don'tputtoo much faith in anything hesays.

As of now, there is no official confirmation and the bill is not scheduled on the committee calendar, so we cannot confirm this date. However, Senator Michael Dembrow, an anti-gunner who is on the committee, recently stated that he expected a hearing early in the session so this may be true.

If Ceasefire is correct then clearly Prozanski is providing them with inside information that he has not provided to the public. Ethically questionable but not a surprise.

Still nothing on the Senate Judiciary schedule and all other bills have been assigned a day and time. They do meet regularly at 8:00 am Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in 343. The Oregon Alliance to Prevent Gun Violence has a Facebook event page about it.

The Oregon Senate Judiciary Committee will hear public testimony on Senate Bill 1551 (SB 1551 :: Oregon Legislature Bill Tracker - Your Government - The Oregonian), which requires a criminal background check before any sale or transfer of a gun.

I wouldn't even credit the little twerps with dirty politics - it's just sheer cowardice. This is SO typical of the Left
- they have to carry out their agenda in secret, scurrying around in the dark like the cockroaches they are.
They're scared to death of confrontation - unless, of course, they're in a huge mob of their own kind. (Ever notice
how they always show up for these "events" marching together in a solid phalanx, all wearing the same cute
little buttons or carrying the same printed signs or insignia or whatever? - which, by the way, is the hallmark
of fascism...). I'd be surprised if they DIDN'T try to "hide" a meeting notice so that only their fellow cockroaches
know about it.
