I bought an STI the first year they came out. Fun car.

It was too hard edge for this old man.

Back in 2007 a good friend bought a brand new sti for $27k.

Added $5k in upgraded turbo and suspension. Then took it in to have it custom computer tuned.

He took it too track days at PDX and it did better then $120k+ cars easily.

I drove it on the freeway and it was comparible to my 130hp 500lb motorcycle.

It had mad amounts of grunt but then the turbo spun up and it was insane.

His dad bought one of the hatchbacks pre tuned and it will do 12, 18 and 25 lbs of boost with just a switch change.

I've found them comfortable but the do hug a big guy like me a bit.


They scream 'pull me over' though lol.


I couldn't have one or id loose my license because of the tickets.

That and when they are on that many steroids they tend to eat gas like a full sized truck.

Well, actually I did watch the whole thing. But I didn't listen to the whole thing, so I didn't hear the guy say he was going back up.
If you watch it without sound, there's really no way to tell which way he's going.
