After waiting ten days to pass my BGC, I picked this up today. I haven't fired it yet but it sure feels good in my hand. It's tight and smooth as it should be. The trigger breaks at around 3.5lbs. I've never spent this much on any firearm before and so far I have no regrets.

All 1911s have a grip safety.... The one owned by OP has a carry beaver tail that is cut down.
