I try to wait til close to election day as sometimes a news story will help me make up my mind on a local race where the candidates are not familiar to me. Changed my mind on a local race last week because of a news story and glad to have the new information. On the national race I too have been waiting 4 years to cast this ballot.

I, the wife, my two daughters have all voted, completed the forms, signed and waiting to drop off. I don't trust the mail system to handle such an important task as this, our mail system in this country is going broke, hence, I'll just step in and do the job the government can't get right.

( nothing against postal employees, just the way it is ran and by whom )

I'm really thankful that Oregon and the county provide the voter pamplets. Not sure how many other states do that but it sure helps when it comes time to make decisions. Whoever came up with that idea, regardless of party affiliation, thanks!
