Alright, thanks again to all, i'm starting the process on a 1903a3, whilst i didn't specifically ask if this one had a super smooth bolt, i'm hoping that's a given :D
 
The 03A3 rifles generally shoot very good.
The action will "smooth" over time , but it will never be as "smooth" as a Krag or a worked over sporting rifle.
Nevertheless the only centerfire rifle I own at the moment is a Remington 03A3.
It shoots , handles and works as "smooth" as I need for a rifle to have fun with or hunt with.
Granted most of my guns are antique muzzleloaders , so the 03 series of rifles are state of the art and very modern , when compared to most of my collection. LOL
