I have a "Mazda" Ford Ranger and it's been great. Only difference is the body panels, and I don't care much about those. Parts are cheap and plentiful, and in-stock at every auto parts store. Servicing it is also super easy. Uses a lot of the same parts as the 4.0 Ranger/Explorers that have been around forever.
