What ones would you recommend I'm new to this.

I don't do product recommendations. If I do and all goes well I'm a hero, but if there are problems I'm the bad guy. That being said, rings are just like every other firearm accessory. There are those that are high dollar trash and those that are low dollar treasures. The best values I've found fall, as usual, somewhere in the middle. I'm a fan of Vortex rings. Good quality and reasonable prices, but the same can be said for numerous other brands.

There are a ton of different choices out there. I like Vortex rings for the price but there is Warne makes a good one as well. Everyone on this forum has what they would recommend and what they think is the best. I would do some research and come up with your own thoughts and decisions.

@etrain16 do you still have those extra scope rings? If so are you willing to part with them?

Yes I do, and yes I am.

You have lots of good info here so far. I had an M1 A and would recommend that you do do scimp on rings. The rifle recoils well on the shoulder but that recoil is hard optics. Quality rings are a must to maintain zero.
