Reminds me of my Suzuki X-90. Very rare car. Only built in 96, 97 and 98. Only 6000 imported. You would be lucky to find a half a dozen for sale in the US. Well, there were 3 of them in our little town of Sisters Oregon for a while. What are the odds? I could only get a pic of two of us together.

One of these is ours.

Parking in the local medical centre yesterday morning, and the other one arrived. To my great betabe, the driver got out walked off without even a backward glance at the almost identical and fairly rare vehicle parked beside him.

This doesn't surprise me.

I had a 2016 GTI, and I'd get lots of thumbs up, waves, honks from other owners, but I noticed that the ones who were saying howdy were all younger flatbills with vapes. Not my favorite demographic! The older guys driving the same car ignored me.

The most economical car there is, Honda CRV
Yeah? You have one?

We drove an '05 for 18 years and 139,000 miles. Not a single issue. Took it everywhere. Out in the boonies, and up/down not much more than deer trails. Honda really screwed them up and added $10,000.00 to the price, so we bought a '24 HR-V a couple years ago. Just loaded with superfluous crap* and minus necessary things. Isn't as big, but big enough for us, and gets an extra 5-8 MPG.

*Yeah, the notification that you need to use brakes and steering is baffling.

Roberts '60 - the Ford Lehman 120 diesel has been replaced by the 178hp electric motor, and 36kw auxiliary 'range extender' from my BMW i3, 1000kWh LiFePO4 batteries in place of her ballast, a 15kw VWAT (vertical axis wind turbine) is replacing the main mast, and sails... Topped off with 6.5kw 'Cypress series' solar panels.

Just bought a super low mileage 2012 VW Jetta from my wife's coworker. Dirt cheap. For the kid who is going to college, needed a newer car that hopefully we don't have to worry about.

It has an interesting 5 cylinder engine.

I have a feeling we're going to regret it 🤣

Modern V.W's are not reliable. Hope it works out O.K.
