What powder you use for that? I just finished powder coating a peanut butter jar full of 405 gr to begin my first attempts at 45/70.
IMR 3031. I was thinking of trying black powder, sometime. Doing some research first.

It would be nice if someone invented a small washing machine where a person could dump a five gallon bucket of nasty muddy brass into it and after about an hour, the brass would come out clean and shinny!

Thanks, I've never heard of them. I would like to try some too.Today, I loaded 50ct 9mm 147gr "blue bullets" over 3.2-3.4gr of IMR Target I bought from a member here. They look pretty cool and I'm looking forward to shooting and chrono'ing them. First time I've loaded blue bullets. I ordered them because they were reasonably priced and kinda neat for plinking.
Just 50 until I try them. And give me a break. I can only break away from wife/kids for long enough to do 50 rounds at a time. Even on my Lee Loadmaster progressive 5 station (which is pretty quick).
Question: Do any of you reload blue bullets? What load data do you use? Their website just points you to Hodgdon (well, they misspell it Hodgon). I just copied Hodgdon's data for the 147gr Hornady XTP (which is a jacketed hollow point). The XTP data (with IMR Target) is 3.2 (840fps) to 3.5 (927fps) max. That's a pretty narrow range. All my drops are 3.2-3.3gr, so I'm 95% sure I'm safe and happy--but I thought I would ask if any of you have any experience with those blue bullets or such coatings. I'm just curious. No big deal.

Never shot polymer bullets. But I have shot lead and powder coated. They take less powder than jacketed and I have heard you are to treat polymer the same as lead.Today, I loaded 50ct 9mm 147gr "blue bullets" over 3.2-3.4gr of IMR Target I bought from a member here. @Holepuncher , you should. The quality seems solid. Coating seems very stable. Prices are good.
@gtivan as far as I know, they aren't polymer. I think they're just coated lead (a special "proprietary" coating, no doubt).
But I read somewhere it is NOT powdercoating.
