Weaver j4 scope

I picked up a spotless j4 today for 20.00.. someone wrapped tape under rings it came with, weaver 1 inch rings.
I got the rings and tape off, finish is 99.9%. Scope is good and clear. I need a set of 3/4 rings or adapters.

How did it go with the J4? What rifle did you put it on? Im thinking about one for a lever action Henry .44. Because I want that "long gun" look.
The say the J4's could be used for rim fire and centerfire.

Weaver's J2.5 and J4 were advertised as economy scopes, suitable for both rimfire and centerfire.

Sorry to say I haven't done anything with the scope yet. But this reminds me to figure something out !
