I finally found a rifle for my vintage scope

I had this Weaver 4X for 30 years and I was looking for a period correct rife to pair it with. Finding a set of rings proved challenging as JC Higgins used non-standard narrow grooves on the receiver. Ended up buying a complete different Weaver 6X the came with a Weaver one piece Tip-Off mount/rings. So it's got the 6X on it now not my original 4X. I'd prefer the 4X as it has a better eye box and greater field of view. Switching scopes would require me to remover the turrets so I'll probably use as is.
Bottom line I think it's a nice setup.

Now you need to find a vehicle for that alternator you've been holding onto since 1986.
