2017-2018 WDFW Hunting Regulations
"The Department is considering making rule changes for the following topics: Hunting regulations and seasons for big game, small game, and migratory waterfowl; rules concerning importation and retention of dead non-resident wildlife; special closures and firearm restriction areas; mandatory report of hunting activity; and other related rules changes as needed."
Most of the proposals involve special permit levels and hunting-area changes proposed following the approval of the WDFW three-year hunting plan in 2015.

A public hearing will take place on March 17-18, 2017 at 8:a.m., Natural Resources Building, Room 172, 1111 Washington Street SE, Olympia, WA 98501. Final action by the commission is scheduled at a public meeting April 14-15 in Spokane.
