Does anyone have a contact into the NRA? I think it would be good for them to take their data, and create a similar map of "lives saved by a gun, by location and date" using the data.

I think this would resonate more with people. Sure the selected stories are good in the monthly NRA mag, but they need to do more.

What about a map of children killed by cancer? Or drowning? Or any other horrible tragic way for a child to die?

Aren't all deaths equal? Shouldn't we prevent all of them?

It doesn't say, killed by lake, killed by swimming pool, killed by bathtub, or killed by 5 gallon bucket. I guess the anti-gun folks don't care about those kids.

I would like to know what the age of these children are. Is this like other antigun stats where gang bangers up to age 26 are called children. Cause in my way of looking at things once your standing on a street corner at midnight selling drugs or hanging with your banger buddies your no longer a child your making you own life decisions and should be not only counted as an adult but tried as one.

No one over 18 should be shown on this silly chart. IMHO

I think its terrible when any child is lost from any accident but these antis are exploiting anything they can for their cause. By their own illogic they should start with banning cars...
