All,

The legislation is expected to close tomorrow, but there are still legislatures trying to get something, anything to pass in these final hours.

Here's the Oregon Firearms Federation (OFF) update that was just posted.


Please contact your legislature using the link in the OFF update, or the SB-1551 toolbox in another thread.
And let a friend or two know as well! Let's keep the pressure up on them till we cross the finish line!

Wow, amazing that they can change 100% of the text in a proposed bill this late in the session and expect to slip it through. Any law worth having should be able to stand up to prolonged and public scrutiny. Just fired off a fresh batch of e-mails tailored specifically to this latest abomination.

This "New Bill" is just another way to get gun registration shoved down our throats and leading to gun confiscation later on, think Connecticut and confiscation via Bayonet."
