My SBS has been sitting at my FFL since February. Is it possible that the originating FFL didn't provide paperwork that "attaches" the SBS to me? Or because it is an SBS there is required paperwork that should accompany it while in transit? Any possible reason at all?

For clarification, they've had the shotgun since February and will not transfer it to you? Or they're saying they cannot because they don't know who it belongs to?

Can you contact the shipping FFL and have them send the FFL a note with the serial number of the gun and your name and that you are the owner?

I am certain I can do that, however, I find it hard to believe that my FFL says he didn't receive any paperwork for it.
