I used to know the Putnam Brothers that owned Putnam Installation Company with their Dad. (PICO) They traveled all over the world doing it.
They said it was great work too.
Great guys, both of them were serious outdoorsmen.
 
My parents friends had a son that worked on cell towers. Got some kind of cert or training right out of high school.
Kid was in his early 20s making $80k+ a year.
It's a rough job a lot of traveling, but great pay. And you can't beat the views

No freakin' way. Funny thing is, I wan't afraid of heights until I did some skydiving. Now it takes some serious meditating to even do things like the Space needle, CN tower in Toronto, and hot air balooning.
 
WHOA! 1500' would be awesome. I wonder how long it takes to climb.

The tallest tower that I have to climb is just a measly 205'.
