If I lived in a rural setting and this happened on my porch. I'd fill my cougar tag and call OSP or ODFW to get the elk meat donated or hopefully I'd get to keep it for myself.

In with a belated edit. I neglected to mention none of the incident would be documented for public consumption, nor would I contact any news outlets. Some people need to realize that going viral shouldn't be a life goal! Put your camera phones down for a minute!
