So many posters at firearm Forum/Boards are unwilling to "Pick a side" (And sorry to say right now there are only two viable Political Parties) and they feel they have "Issues" with both parties that make them both equally repulsive. If you feel that Gay Marriage and Choice and other "Social" issues outweigh 2A/RTKBA and that Fundy Conservatives want into your own personal Bedroom or back yard pot grow and to foist their religion on you at every turn of your daily life then you can be counted on to vote like a Liberal elitist Irvine California Oriental Soccer Mom in election cycle after election cycle.

That's not always the case. Betsy Johnson is the perfect example of a democrat that is EXTREMELY pro-2A. She's more pro-2A than a lot of the Repubs in Oregon. I end up voting Repub mostly because of 2A issues, but it does bother me that a large portion of the establishment Republicans want basically a Christian theocracy. Rick Santorum is a prime example. He is the Christian version of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Never met the man but you are mistaken in your comparison. I won't waste time telling you why as I won't get into religion. Odd that you can't see the obvious differences but then I suspect you choose not to see them. The culture of corruption is deep in the dems party, you can look at kits Haber as another in a long line of liars. I can't understand how the party has let itself turn to what it has, a house of bold face liars.

What man? Betsy Johnson is a woman. Are you talking about Santorum? He flat out said in the last primary during his bid for repub pres nomination he wanted Christian law in the US. That's pretty definitive. How is one form of Theological rule different from another? If you think Christians aren't just as batbubblegum crazy as Muslims then you are blind or in DIRE need of a history lesson.

YOU may choose to vote only based on one issue, but not all voters are like that. They way the importance and impact of issues and decide how to vote. In Betsy Johnson's district they agree with the Democratic Party's views on social issues, but they continually re-elect her because of he stance on the 2nd amendment.

Not every Democrat is out to destroy guns and gun owners. You guys really need to stop playing to the Anti-Gun stereotype.

I am really not into giving history lessons nor am I willing to talk religion to you, it seems by your replys that past attempts have failed. EXACTLY! The Republicans, despite the rhetoric, are the middle ground now in America.
The Democrats have become, well............ something else.
Where the G.O.P. has a few (oh the horror!) T.E.A. party and Evangelicals around, the Dems have more than a few high profile Communists and open border globalists steering the direction of Dem Politics.
And they are expert at dividing this Country by race, religion, social economic, age and gender.
