How to choose what to bring to the woods. I rarely shoot 1911 just for quick practice or to relax my mind. My caliber of choice is 45 LC. I dislike 223 but have a.few and enjoy optics and an occasional mag dump. As a patient adult I await my 308. I don't feel challenged anymore with 30-30s as I have not found the right area and have maxed out my distance at my home range. My Winchester lever action 45LC is bad a$$ so enough of that. What to shoot? I got some 357 ammo and some 44 both kinds. Ah those 70s targets yeah...like the bad guy with a pistol i need those.
anybody ever build a fun range? Figure since I plan to have my first property next year thats something to consider. For now what to bring to the woods before it starts raining.
