On Friday 2/17 from 6-8pm The Kids S.A.F.E. Foundation is holding a Kids In-Home Firearm Safety Class at the Cabela's Tualatin store location. The class will be held in the conference center there and the cost is $20, per child. This class will include instruction on firearm safety, respect when handling a firearm (actual firearm, Nerf, Airsoft ETC) visual material, tips for firearm storage and more.
At least one parent is required to attend with their child. The Kids In-Home safety program is designed to open up the dialogue between children and their parents regarding firearms. It is the goal of the foundation to take the novelty away from firearms. All kids should know basic, life-saving skills on what they should and SHOULD NOT do if they encounter a firearm. Our mission is to educate the public through community outreach to eliminate accidental shootings. Something we can achieve together through proper education.
