Unfortunately, some are idiots. Those that refuse to learn firearms basics, yet still write anti 2A laws are idiots. Even military service, in itself, is not enough. The majority of service members get limited trigger time unless it's directly duty related. The fighting admin are few and far between.

Most are just scumbags more concerned about enriching themselves and monopolizing power than representing their constituents, but there some idiots for sure. The guy is probably the gold medal winner in that event...

Personally, I think it should be a crime punishable by loss of seat and jail time for law makers to not know what it is they are attempting to illegalize, like this toad...
