I've built a couple straight pull pistols, 338 Arc would be a good supressor host and be a decent deer round. Bear Creek isn't great but their side charge uppers and bolt carriers are useful for straight pulls.
 
Did you know, if you clamp your gas tube shut, remove it or otherwise ruin the gas system, every AR ever becomes a straight pull with no gimmicks?
 
Yes but you still need the buffer and tube and you can't really make it foldable.

Chop the carrier! Dont need a tube!

Why?

Its a pistol so mag limits , and no centerfire rifle regs while hunting don't count.

Way quieter suppressed.
