I've built a couple straight pull pistols, 338 Arc would be a good supressor host and be a decent deer round. Bear Creek isn't great but their side charge uppers and bolt carriers are useful for straight pulls.

Did you know, if you clamp your gas tube shut, remove it or otherwise ruin the gas system, every AR ever becomes a straight pull with no gimmicks?

And education. This falls in education. And I see its relevant, because making an ar into a bolt action is a lot more customizable launch.Your allocation would have revealed that getting a chassis for a actual bolt action.

Yes but you still need the buffer and tube and you can't really make it foldable.

One shot and im looking to replace the buffer and use a skeletonized stock that can fold.

no you don't, just chop the bolt carrier.

There's no gas system it doesn't cycle until you tell it to and even without a chopped carrier you can use this with a straight pull.

Chop the carrier! Dont need a tube!

Why?

Its a pistol so mag limits , and no centerfire rifle regs while hunting don't count.

Way quieter suppressed.

Just take the gas block and gas tube off and turn the gas block over. No permanent damage, no bubba-ing parts.
