Hmm I installed the Ed Brown MSH on my SR1911 and the grip safety is not working as in I don't need to depress it to drop the hammer. I switched back and it works , what am I missing it all looks right slides right in. I did notice it's just a little bit thicker could the be the issue? New one is .422 at the top the stock one is .398

Hi kev350,

Well you have to fit them to your gun. May need to bend the grip safety spring? I live on 172nd ave. I could look at it and maybe see the problem.
PM me if you like I'm not far from Gresham.

I forgot to update I got it figured out. I got out the calibers and checked turns out it was the top of the MSH the new one was .195 now .170 engages nicely now just took a bit of file work. MSH.jpg
