<broken link removed> featuring James Patrick Page
To bring in 3 different generations of music fans
That kid was picking up Jimmy's riffs pretty quick.Seemed he was pretty good to me.
Nice, I have that on video for the entertainment system.
That's The Edge from U2 and Jack White from The White Stripes. They can't hold a candle to Jimmy, darned generous of him to be on the same stage with em.
Jimmy sure has aged gracefully, unlike some of his contemporaries. He can still rip it up too. I'm not a huge fan of The Edge's style, but do like to listen to The White Stripes from time to time. They are not in the same league as Page by any means, not sure why they were paired-up but it's all good.
"I think Jack White is definitely a hero to a young generation of guitarists and an old generation of guitarists," he said.
"Theres no doubt about that as someone who has roots.
"Not only that, Jack, every time that he has a new project, its always worth checking out because he wont disappoint you."
"What we all have in common is that we are all self-taught guitarists," said Page. "That's what so fascinating about it. All guitarists have a very different character so there was a lot to learn from each other."
One thing I do know I'll be listening to Physical Graffiti on my way to work tonight!
