We are CJTC instructors here in WA, we certify private security to carry their firearms on duty. We do pistol, rifle and shotgun.

The rifle qual is designed around the AR15/semi auto rifle platform primarily, however, on occasion, we get some fellers that want to do something a LITTLE different!

45-70 Lever.

He rocked it, passed and we submitted the paperwork = )

You do YOU, folks!

Our rural Sheriffs dept. was first forming a SWAT team in the late 70's. They had to go to Las Angeles for training. The requirements were to bring a patrol carbine. The deputy that was selected took his lever gun in 45-70. Most brought 30 carbines, camp carbines, or sub guns in pistol calibers.

The first time he fired it they shut down the firing line to see what happened. He finished the course, and the next deputy went they asked that he brought a more suitable carbine.

At that time bears were the most dangerous animals they delt with on a day to day basis. DR

I guess it makes sense in WA where, and correct me if I'm wrong, "assault weapons" can't be inherited after the ban, meaning after a few generations most semi-autos in WA will be non existent or illegal.

Is private security exempt or just LE?

If WA state gets it's $hit together, in a few generations globalist filth masquerading as state lawmakers will be " non-existent ".

Private security is not exempt. It's ridiculous.
