There is no one in Salem I'd trust to mill my slides. Just send it someone reputable like ATEi, Jagerwerks, Battlewerx or Maple Leaf.

It looks like not many specialize in lightening cuts for S&W Shield.

Another vote for McCluskey Arms down in Eugene. They do great work and have photos of representative work on their website.

McCluskey is who I'll be sending a slide to next once they reopen their books. I asked him a few weeks ago and he said they weren't taking any new orders till they catch up

I apologize, I don't mean to hijack the thread, but is it confusing when sighting in? Left=up, up=right, down=left, also right for down? I get confused enough between POA and POI. My head hurts thinking about the pain in adjusting that one…

They milled a Glock 19x slide for me three weeks ago for an Aimpoint Acro P2. Turn around on that happened to be 1-week. I have had them do skeleton/cosmetic slide cuts in the past and they turned out excellent, including the cerakote refinsih that was included in the service.

I have a G26 slide & a Holosun optic there now. Dropped it off on Saturday (two days ago). Expected return is two weeks. I'm ok with that.
For reference, I bought a Holosun HS507K X2 ($240). Optic Cut - Irons Forward $210.
Ameriglo GL-429 XL Black Sights $50
Cerakote Slide - Graphite Black $20
Shop supplies $5
$265 + $240 = $505
Cheaper elsewhere but they're local!

I just sent another slide to JagerWerks. I should have tried these guys. I'm also getting a 26 milled. But for an Acro P2. I think I have an 8 week lead time. Haha.
