That is pretty cool. A solid and we'll organized program to get youths introduced to shooting. Nothing wrong with air rifles.

They are in parts of WA also. I first found out about this decades back and had no idea. My kids were always shooing in the yard. Then I read a story about it and looked it up and damned if the city had not made air guns a firearm. If one of our neighbors had ever called the law I would have been looking at best a surprise visit from an LEO and possibly a large fine.
