Silvies Unit GPS information and Conditions?

We managed to get Mule deer tags this year for Silvies unit (Burns Area). We are planning a trip next weekend. Anyone have GPS maps or info for this area? Also, any bow hunters with deer population information. I'd love to hear from you.

ODFW Maps

has general maps for the unit. Oregon hunting maps has detailed info with lat/long position data via googlemaps, but doesn't let you save points.

What GPS & software do you have and are comfy using? Depending on what you are specifically looking for, you can go a commercial route & use their data, OR you can utilize some opensource software, grab free public data, import layers, and query out whatever interests you, with imports/exports to your GPS.
