Sig Help - What are the differences between a Sig P228 and P229, both in 9mm?

There are quite a few differences. The largest is probably that the P228 is a single stack and has a stamped slide rather than milled. I'd find somewhere you can handle both of them.

Interesting? My 228 is exactly like my 226 except it has a shorter barrel. It has double stack magazines & the slide is milled. These two Sigs are over 10 years old would that make a difference?

228 is double stack.....you may be thinking P6/225

IIRC, 228 is milled slide, 229 is stamped...think there's a few more minor differences though...
