Can I steal a U-Tube video

I might know the videographer, editor, producer, camera man, stunt man and narrator - but it isn't me.

Although I have ridden that road with him.

This one's mine:

So my one hobby - on 2 wheels - costs about $5/hr - gas is about $3/gal into miles/gal into an hour on the windy/twisty roads of Oregon / Washington.

Range time is over $100 / hr !
I compete in IDPA and Steel. (not win, just compete)

The other hobby is: Watching TV. Given the number of hours it gets ... it must be a hobby.

My current hobby is getting my mostly 1948 WILLYS CJ2A completely rebuilt and back on the road. Here is the latest Willys Porn

I am scratch building all the "Hot Rod" parts. Right now I am working on the Aluminum Intake Manifold I have designed for it. Should take about a week to finish that. The tube with the 8 holes in the top is the oil fill tube and dip stick holder with a PCV breather built into the top of it. The thermostat housing is a 75 degree Jegs unit for a Chevy V8 I made new mounting plates for to adapt it to the Willys Head.

Engine is bored .060 over the head shaved and the block decked it now has 7-1 compression ratio up a full 1/2 point. When I am done I will have taken the 60BHP stock engine to North of 90BHP. and added about 20+ ft Lbs of torque.

I am currently waiting for a guy who said he would weld up all the frame modifications I have done (its a 1957 CJ5 Frame so there have been a bunch of changes especially with the conversion to Saginaw Manual Steering and the rear 2" receiver hitch) Once that's done I can get the frame sand blasted and painted then I can start building a Chassis. This summers big project will be the sheet metal work. Almost no rust (it sat in my dads shed nice and dry since Sept 1976) but lots of dings dents and wiggles to work out. Its going to be painted 1998 Dodge Dakota Intense Blue (a medium blue with very little metallic) with a black windshield, chassis, and floor with White roll bar, Wheels and Aluminum top. With an Orange pin stipe on the wheels and between the top and tub. With Orange piping on the seats.

I spend a lot of time teaching people how to shoot

I also run the .22 rimfire competition at DRRC

I also sit on the board out at DRRC.

But when I'm not at an Appleseed, I'm the lead on our sound team at church

Music as a whole is a big part of my life. I play sax and have upgraded the sound system in both of my rigs.

They don't allow pictures in the casino but when I need some down time I head to La Center for some Blackjack.

We could have used you at church today.... our whole sound board went down. We had to do worship and the entirety of the sermon with no amplification. !

Fortunately, our pastor is loud enough that even all the way back in my usher's chair I could hear most of it...

The one skill I kick myself in the butt over not having is welding. As an ex knifemaker I do know how to forge weld and do have decent blacksmithing skills. But I really wish I knew how to wire weld and owned a decent welder. I really appreciate the hard work and skill it takes to do that level of iron work. Its a true art form IMHO

Which .50 is that? I can't seem to blow up the pic on my phone but it looks like a Iver Johnson?

EDIT: I got home and could look at the full size pic and see that it is clearly not a Iver Johnson.

Looks more like a Armilite.

Pretty sure it's an Armilite. I'm gonna me honest, it's a friends but #$^$%&#%^&$& it's fun to shoot! I was bonging the gong at 1032 yards with it in Kettle Falls. It was the 2nd most fun that I have ever had with my clothes on, the most fun is definitely the scooter (goldwing)
