I'll try to keep this simple and clear.
On another forum a UK owner of a US made rifle is having problems with it and while covered by the factory (lifetime) he says he cannot send it back and the importer says he only has a two year warranty on it.
The MFG. website says, 'For repairs in all other countries please contact the dealer where the firearm was purchased.'
So my question is does a MFG. loose the right to service a customer of their gun under warranty due to an import/export law - or is the MFG. taking the 'safe' route and handing it 'off' to the owner's dealer?
Any knowledgeable FFL or anyone who who can answer this please jump in!
